Welcome to Nice Trip Guatemala. By using our website, placing an order, or booking private transportation services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing any reservation.
1. WHO WE ARE
Nice Trip Guatemala provides private transportation services within the territory of Guatemala, offering safe, punctual, and professional travel experiences.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By reserving a trip or making a payment through our WooCommerce checkout, you declare that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You provide accurate and truthful information
- You agree to comply with all policies presented here
- You understand that these Terms form a legally binding agreement
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
3. SERVICES OFFERED
We provide:
- Private ground transportation within Guatemala
- Pre-scheduled trips booked via our website
- Optional trip customization (subject to availability and fees)
What is NOT included:
- Parking fees, hotel entrance fees, tolls, ferry charges
- Unscheduled extended waiting times
- Extra route changes or multiple stops not included in the original reservation
- Transport of prohibited, dangerous, or illegal items
4. RESERVATIONS
4.1 How to Book
Reservations must be completed through our website using the WooCommerce checkout. You must provide:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Pickup & destination
- Date, time, number of passengers
- Luggage details
Once the reservation is confirmed and paid, you will receive:
- A confirmation email
- WhatsApp follow-up
- Driver and vehicle assignment before the trip
4.2 Reservation Time Requirements
- Ideal: At least 24 hours in advance
- Minimum: 8 hours, subject to availability
- Less than 8 hours: Only possible if manually approved (contact us first)
4.3 Reservation Modifications
Modifications are allowed up to 8 hours before the trip.
Changes may affect the total price if:
- Route changes
- Passenger or luggage count changes
- Time changes
5. PAYMENTS
All payments must be made through the website via:

We do not accept cash.
Your reservation is confirmed only after successful payment.
WooCommerce will store order details, but payment processing occurs securely through Recurrente. We do not store your complete credit card data.
6. PRICES & BILLING
All prices shown include the services described for the selected route.
You may request an invoice:
- During checkout
- Within 24 hours after payment
WooCommerce order information may be used to generate your invoice.
7. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
By booking, you agree to the following refund terms:
7.1 Cancellations
- 48 to 36 hours before trip: 100% refund
- 36 to 18 hours before trip: 50% refund
- Less than 18 hours: No refund
- Last-minute trips (within 8 hours): No refund
7.2 No-Show Policy
If the passenger does not show up within the allowed waiting time, the trip is marked as NO SHOW, and no refund applies.
7.3 External Factors
Events such as:
- Traffic
- Weather conditions
- Road closures
- Mechanical issues
- Police checkpoints
do not qualify for refunds or compensation.
7.4 Refund Processing Time
Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 30 days.
8. DURING THE TRIP
8.1 Waiting Time
- 1 hour of waiting after the scheduled time is included
- The driver normally arrives 20 minutes early
- Additional waiting time may incur extra fees
8.2 Additional Stops & Route Changes
Allowed only if:
- Requested in advance
- Approved during the trip
- Additional charges may apply
8.3 Passenger Limit
Only passengers listed in the reservation may travel.
Extra passengers are not allowed.
Violation of this rule may result in:
- Trip cancellation
- No refund
8.4 Luggage Policies
Allowed: the amount declared in the reservation.
Large, unsafe, or unnotified items may be refused.
8.5 Prohibited Items
- Illegal substances
- Firearms without valid permits
- Hazardous, flammable, or dangerous materials
- Commercial cargo or machinery that may damage the vehicle
9. CONDUCT & SAFETY
Passengers must:
- Avoid smoking or vaping
- Avoid consuming alcohol or drugs
- Treat the driver with respect
- Avoid damaging or dirtying the vehicle
The driver may end the trip without refund if behavior becomes unsafe or inappropriate.
If a passenger causes damage, they must cover repair or cleaning costs (e.g., spills, burns, vomit, broken parts).
10. LOST & FOUND
Passengers are responsible for checking personal belongings before exiting the vehicle.
We will make reasonable efforts to recover forgotten items but cannot guarantee retrieval or assume responsibility for losses.
11. TRAVELING WITH MINORS
- Minors may travel with an accompanying adult
- Unaccompanied minors require a signed authorization
- Children under age 6 require a pre-requested safety seat
These requirements must be declared during the reservation.
12. PET POLICY
Pets are allowed only if:
- Transported in a carrier
- Declared in advance
- Passenger accepts possible cleaning fees
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nice Trip Guatemala is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by external factors
- Lost or stolen belongings
- Costs arising from passenger misconduct
- Injuries caused by improper passenger behavior
In case of accidents, insurance and local authority protocols will be followed.
Delays arising from incidents are not grounds for refunds.
14. WEBSITE USE (Nice Trip Guatemala Terms)
By using our Nice Trip Guatemala checkout, you accept that:
- Order information is stored securely
- Product/trip details must be reviewed before payment
- Errors in data entry are the user’s responsibility
- WooCommerce email notifications serve as legal confirmation of your order
Any suspicious activity may result in:
- Order cancellation
- Account suspension
- Fraud reporting
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this site—including text, images, logos, and branding—is property of Nice Trip Guatemala.
